Rodarius Marcell green[2] born on 27 August 1998. He is popularly known as Rod Wave and a singer. [3][4][5The Wave is known for his powerful voice, the blending of R&B and hiphop[2and has been recognized as the pioneer of soul-trap. The track from his album "Heart on Ice" has been a viral popular hit on YouTube as well as TikTok. The song peaked at number 25 on Billboard Hot 100. [7] Wave's debut album, Ghetto Gospel (2019) was a top 10 album on the US Billboard 200. Wave released several mixtapes before signing with Alamo Records. The mixtape was released PTSD on the 14th of June of 2019, and it featured the hit song "Heart on Ice". The song became a viral success on YouTube as well as TikTok. It reached the top 25 on Billboard's Hot 100. Wave's debut album Ghetto Gospel (November 1, 2019) came out. It reached number 10 on the US Billboard 200. On April 3, 2020 Rod Wave released his second album, "Pray 4 Love". It debuted at the second spot on the Billboard 200, with a deluxe edition following on August 7. "18.19.19" The song by Wave "Nirvana" that was released the latter half of 2021, sparked controversy. Many believed the track could be a suicide note however, Wave was adamant about denying this.
