Ariana Grande-Butera (/,a:ri'a:n@ 'gra:ndeI/ AR -ee-AH-n@ GRAHN day;[note 1] was born on June 26, 1993) is an American artist, singer and actress. Her unique use of the whistle register and four-octave vocal range is well-liked by media and critics. Grande has been awarded numerous awards over the course of her career. This includes two Grammy Awards. One Brit Award. Two Billboard Music Awards. Three American Music Awards. Nine MTV Video Music Awards. Thirty Guinness World Records.
Grande began her career in music when she was 15 years old during the 2008 Broadway musical 13. She rose to fame for playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious (2010-2013) as well as Sam & Cat (2013-2014). After viewing YouTube videos of Grande singing covers, Republic Records signed Grande in the year 2011. Next", "7 Rings" and "Break up with Your Girlfriend. Grande's collaborations for 2020 with Justin Bieber ("Stuck with U") and Lady Gaga's "Rain on Me" were both nominated for the Grammy Award as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Grande's sixth studio album Positions (2020), increased her focus on trap music. The album as well as its lead single made it to number one in the UK. In 2021, she teamed up with The Weeknd on the remix of "Save Your Tears", which earned her her sixth US number-one single.
