
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most memorable role was Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in the television series Magnum. (1980-1988) in which he was nominated five times for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in the Drama Series. He won in 1985. From 2010 until 2010, Selleck has been the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. Beginning in 2005, he has portrayed the police chief of a small town who is in trouble Jesse Stone in nine television films inspired by the Robert B. Parker novels.In films, Selleck has played bachelor architect Peter Mitchell in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and its sequel Three Men and a Little Lady (1990).
