Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th, 1967. She is an American performer and singer. Wuhrer began her career as she was just a teen. She is best known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three siblings. When she was a teenager, she sang in nightclubs and would sneak out of the house to sing. Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model and actress was born in Brookfield, CT on the 28th of April 1967. Kari was born into the family that included four members. As a teenager was a nightclub singer, she would sing while slipping out to perform. When she was 13 years old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then was enrolled in drama classes at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was still a teenager. She had her first major breakthrough on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
