Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor director producer, and vocalist. Being a smart and beautiful actress, Lucy Liu serves as a role model to several Asian actors who are in Hollywood that want to be successful. After a series of initial performances in popular shows she achieved fame after joining the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. The actress translated her sudden success into big screen roles in movies including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Following that, she gave an an excellent role in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime lord O Ren Ishii. In the same time frame she also acted as the lead in some failures in the field such as Rise: Blood Hunter. After that, she started to voice prominent characters in animation films, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a minor role that failed to have any impact.
